Co-written by Smith and Jason Walker, “Your Love is a Flood” is reminiscent of the sound of his most beloved albums while pushing boldly into the sonic landscape of today. The lyrics themselves offer a poetic invitation into that divine overflow:

Produced by Smith, Tedd T, Bryan Todd, & Walker,  “Your Love Is a Flood” builds on the rich themes introduced in “Arms Around The Sun,” which explore the overwhelming love of God and the mystery of His greatness. That song featured actor and musician Jonathan Roumie (The Chosen, Jesus Revolution) on drums, along with an acclaimed music video filmed at Vū Nashville.

As the full project continues to unfold, these singles mark a deeply personal excitement for Smith to the roots of his faith and artistry—filled with reverence, honesty, and passion.

The exclusive tour will hit nine major markets across the U.S., kicking things off Nov. 28 in Greensboro, N.C., making additional stops in Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Georgia, before wrapping up on Dec. 8 in St. Louis, Mo.

A special pre-sale ticket opportunity will take place beginning Monday, April 21, 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, April 24, 10 p.m. local time. While Grant and Smith’s holiday concerts have become one of the most heralded events of the season for more than 30 years, the Christmas Together Tour will mark the first time they’ve been joined by Winans on the holiday venture since she originally appeared on their 1998 Christmas tour.

“We all know Christmas is hands down my favorite time of year,” Smith told Billboard this week in an exclusive report. “And getting to tour with Amy always makes it even more special. But this year we’re taking it to the next level! We’re beyond excited to have our dear friend CeCe Winans join us. After so many years of touring together, adding CeCe’s incredible voice and spirit to the mix feels like the ultimate Christmas gift. To say that the three of us are thrilled about this tour is simply an understatement.”

Nashville, Tenn. (March 15, 2024) — GRAMMY Awarding winning, multi-platinum, singer and songwriter Michael W. Smith releases his new EP Worthy Is The Lamb today.

The five-song worship EP features four classics including “In Christ Alone” and “Agnus Dei”  and also features a brand new song, “Crimson Dust”, which Smith wrote alongside Tony Wood.

On the new song, Smith says, “Crimson Dust, which I wrote with Tony Wood, sets the scene of the day of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. My prayer is that it reminds us how heaven touched earth and changed history that day. I love the thought of people around the world singing together ‘Holy, Holy, Holy, Jesus Lamb of God.’”

The first four tracks were captured live with the Nashville Recording Orchestra and a choir at the beautiful Fisher Center at Belmont University. This recording took place in 2023 as a part of an Easter Special in partnership with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

Though many of these songs may be well-known already, Smith breathes new life into them with stunning arrangements that reflect the beauty and timelessness of music that has been sung through generations.

Fans can hear these songs and others live as Smith continues on his Spring 2024 FOREVER tour.

Smith have announced dates for their 2023 Christmas Tour this holiday season.  Joined by special guest Michael Tait of the Newsboys, Grant and Smith will co-headline nine holiday shows, including their first appearance together on New York City’s iconic Carnegie Hall stage (Dec. 5). The pair will kick off their combined Christmas tour Nov. 26, in Atlanta, making additional stops in markets like Durham, Kansas City, Washington D.C. (Tysons, Va.), Dallas and more. All shows will go on sale Friday, July 14.

The highly anticipated Christmas concert will feature selections spanning the artists’ expansive Christmas repertoires and combine the vast collection of critically-acclaimed holiday albums between them. Both Grant and Smith’s recordings have become part of the backdrop of Christmas for families all over the world, and their holiday tour is one of the most heralded events of the season to the delight of fans at sold-out shows throughout North America.

Following the nine-city run with Grant, Smith will continue the Christmas tour with Tait for eight more dates, hitting Fort Myers, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Bowling Green, Nashville and more. Meanwhile, Grant will return to Nashville for her Christmas at the Ryman residency with her husband Vince Gill. The 12-performance holiday concert run at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium will kick off on Dec. 13.
