11/7 - A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Today, Zach begins rehearsals for a musical adaptation of the Dickens classic, adapted by director Steve Wargo with music by Dianne Adams McDowell. Zach will be playing a number of roles, including the Ghost of Christmas Future. The show runs December 2nd-18th, with sixteen performances. For full schedule and ticket information, go here.

 

9/13 - PLAYS TO BENEFIT ORPHANS
On October 21st, Zach will be appearing in two short plays as part of an evening of short plays and monologues presented by Entertain Us, in a one-night performance to benefit the foster children of The NY Foundling, one of New York City's oldest orphan welfare organizations. 9/6 - THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING
Zach is listed among the recipients of the 2015-2016 Helen and Morris Zoren World Theater Awards under the category of Best Supporting Actor for his work in
Billy Elliot: The Musical last winter at the Media Theatre. The entire list can be viewed here.

 

8/3 - INTERVIEW
The Bucks County Cabaret now has a regular internet radio spot, featuring interviews with upcoming artists. This weekend, Zach and Blair sit down with BCC producer and host Tom Orr to chat a bit about the show and sing a couple songs. You can listen in Saturday night at 9PM here.

 

7/26 - METROSTAR ROUND 2, TAKE TWO
And once again, Zach will be returning to the next round of MetroStar Talent Challenge along with 17 other singers on Monday, August 1st beginning at 6:30pm. As always, tickets are $20 with a two-drink minimum. Reservations and all other information can be found here.

 

7/6 - "PUSH DOWN GENTLY AND TURN"
Zach will be appearing his first non-musical play in quite some time: a developmental reading of
Push Down Gently and Turn, a new play by novelist Carrie Stratton. The reading will be held on Thursday, July 21st at 7pm, in Theater 54, located at Shelter Studios, 244 West 54th Street. More details and up-to-date information can be found at the Facebook event page here.

 

6/24 - THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM
Once again, Zach has been selected to participate in the annual MetroStar Talent Challenge, sponsored by the MAC Award-winning Metropolitan Room. The contest runs on Monday nights for eleven weeks beginning July 11th; Zach will be singing the second trial round on July 18th. Tickets are $20, plus the minimum. 6/7 - BACK AT THE PUZZLE
Zach will once again join The Puzzle, a festival of readings of new works sponsored by Marble Collegiate Church. Zach will appear in the short play
Elvis Is Dead by James Hutchison (presented Friday, June 24th at 7PM) and Miss Mayor, a new musical with music and lyrics by Christian Duhamel and book by Ellie Margolis and Greg Hellems (presented Tuesday, June 22nd at 7PM). 4/18 - CABARET IN BUCKS COUNTY
On Saturday, August 13th, at 7PM, Zach and singer/pianist Blair Alexis Brown will be performing a new show with the Bucks County Cabaret, at the Rodeway Inn in New Hope, PA. All information on tickets, venue and accommodations can be found here.

 

2/27 - 54 SINGS "SCARLET PIMPERNEL"
On Monday, February 29th, Zach will join the ensemble in a concert performance of the Broadway musical
The Scarlet Pimpernel. The concert will have performances at 7:00 and 9:30, is directed and produced by Scott Siegel with musical direction by Ross Patterson, and features Christine Andreas, Brian Charles Rooney, Douglas Ladnier, William Michals and Jessica Hendy. 2/25 - SECOND BENEFIT SHOW ADDED!
Due to overwhelming response, a second performance of Cabaret Beats Cancer to benefit Erin Cronican has been approved. The encore show will be held at Don't Tell Mama on March 5th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. As before, tickets are $20 ($15 for MAC members) plus the usual two-drink minimum. 1/25 - BENEFIT FOR ERIN CRONICAN
On February 27th at 5PM, Zach will be participating in
Cabaret Beats Cancer - Songs About Courage Healing And Love at Don't Tell Mama, to benefit beloved actor, singer, web designer and very dear friend Erin Cronican. The show is being organized by Rob Davis, and will also include appearances by Richie Eisenberg, Janice Hall, Mary & Jim Lahti, Tanya Moberly, Marissa Mulder, Candice Oden, Sarah Rice, Adam Shapiro, Walter Willison as well as Erin herself, accompanied by Bill Zeffiro, Barry Levitt and Matthew Martin Ward. 1/15 - BEST IN PHILADELPHIA!
As a welcome and pleasant ending to a very successful run, Philadelphia-based critic Neal Zoren has announced his annual list of picks for favorite actors in the southeastern Pennsylvania region, nominating Zach for Best Supporting Actor for his work in

1/7 - ONE MORE REVIEW AND A FINAL LOOK
Today begins the first of the final six performances of Billy Elliot: The Musical. Another favorable review, posted shortly after the announcement of the extension, reads in part: "There is much to love about the characters and the actors who portray them...Wobensmith wins the crowd with his transformation from tough love dad to a caring father who can really croon a tune!"
